Last night we were at the opening of Big Deal No5. The exhibition, which was curated by artists Vanya Balogh and Cederic Christie, is on the -3rd floor of a car park underneath Cavendish Sq in London’s west end.
Supported by arts patron and cultural ambassador Geoff Leong, Big Deal No5 consists of over 80 artists from the UKs contemporary art scene and was an amalgamation of high energy cutting edge art, surrounded by performances and weird and wonderful noises, installations, films, paintings, sculpture and multi-media works, every time we did a lap of the show we saw something new.
We were incredibly excited to have been a part of this event, and to have had the chance to meet all the people who came to contribute to our bank.
Twinkle showed her A Gannet’s Stomach is Never Full and In War Truth is the First Casualty for the first time in the UK, and Tinsel showed two of her new paintings based on the rising rents on London for the first time.
We even made new banker outfits which we can’t wait to wear again soon! The exhibition finishes on Saturday 19th October so if you’re in the West End today or tomorrow please do go along, you wont be disappointed!
Here are some photos from the show and of the bank.
